Minos

Name: Minos
Cloth: Gryphon
Type: Specter
Class: Judge of Hell
Star: Celestial Noble Star

Short Bio: (SPOILERS) Gryphon Minos is a character in Masami Kurumada's series Saint Seiya, and Shiori Teshirogi's series Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas. (I have not completed the original series yet, so there will not be information from it until later.) Gryphon Minos is one of Hades, god of the underworld's strongest warriors. He is deemed the strongest specter and is one of the infamous judges of hell. Minos' cloth is based off of the legendary creature, Griffin. His cloth is capable of a variety of attacks and is designed with wings and talons to mimic an actual Griffin. Minos is depicted as a sadistic warrior who takes pleasure in 'breaking' or toying with strong opponents.

In Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, Minos meets his watch when fighting Gold Saint Pisces Albafica. After many exchanged blows, Minos gains the upper hand with his Cosmic Marionette technique and temporarily subdues Albafica. He then proceeds to begin demolishing the near by town. Whilst destroying the town, Minos spots a young girl wearing a rose. Clearly annoyed with this sight, claiming he 'cannot seem to escape the roses today' nears to kill the girl, only to be stopped by Albafica.

Albafica attacks Minos with his most powerful attack 'Bloody Rose'. Minos shrugs the attack off, boasting about his perfect defense only to be alerted by Gold Saint Aries Shion, that he had in fact, been pierced in the chest by Albafica's attack. Minos, in a fit of rage, refusing to be defeated unleashes his attack 'Gigantic Feathers Flap' to destroy everything in the area. This attack is contained by Aries Shion's abilities. Shortly after, Minos succumbs to the poison from Albafica's attack. Albafica, in turn, falls from the blood loss from his own attack moments later.
